Through your gifts to Hope Lutheran Church & School, you help strengthen families, promote traditional values, and transform lives through the power of the Gospel.
Hope Lutheran Church is there…
· When husbands and wives need to find trust, intimacy and faith, your gift will help strengthen marriage relationships.
· When families struggle with grief, confusion, and tragedy, your gift will help them find healing and hope.
· When people need to know God’s love and His plan for families, your gift will help bring them closer to Him.
But you also accomplish something else: You enable Hope Lutheran to extend its ministry to those who cannot afford to support it. Whether they are on a limited income, or have experienced catastrophic medical costs, or are trying to raise a family after losing their employment. These are just examples of the people here in Bradenton that you will be helping.
We need financial help from friends & members like you. Please consider prayerfully about supporting Hope Lutheran Church.

DISASTER RELIEF --
Weather-related disasters hit US
Recently, several U.S. weather-related disasters have claimed lives, displaced families and caused massive destruction to homes, businesses and farmland. LWR joins you in prayerful concern following the Southeast U.S. tornadoes (April 27, 2011), Mississippi River flooding (May 19, 2011) and the Midwest tornadoes, including the deadly tornado that struck Joplin, Mo. (May 22, 2011).
Our friends at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) Domestic Disaster Response, The Lutheran Church — Missouri Synod (LCMS) World Relief and Human Care, and Lutheran Disaster Response are actively responding to these and other U.S. disasters.
By special request from International Orthodox Christian Charities (IOCC), a longtime partner in distributing LWR Quilts and Kits overseas, Lutheran World Relief provided a small supply of School Kits and Quilts to supplement of other relief supplies sent to the affected areas in Alabama as part of IOCC's emergency response.

Thank you for your compassionate concern and for your support of Lutheran World Relief.
Lutheran World Relief is a ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA), The Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod (LCMS), individuals and parish groups in international relief, development, advocacy and social responsibility. LWR is a member of Action by Churches Together.
If you've been a supporter of LWR for even a short while, you know we are firmly committed to good stewardship. But did you know that even the way in which you support our ministry should be shaped by stewardship decisions?
Many of our contributors-including, perhaps, you-could significantly reduce the "cost" of supporting our work if they were to contribute appreciated assets rather than cash. IRS regulations allow donors to claim as an income tax deduction the full market value of appreciated stock if the stock is transferred directly to Lutheran World Relief.
In addition, you avoid all capital gains tax on the stock's increase in value.*
Please consult your financial planner or tax advisor who can assist you in evaluating the tax advantages available to you when making a donation of appreciated securities.
To learn more about how you can discretely donate appreciated stock or mutual funds, please contact the Hope Lutheran Church office at (941) 755-3256.
