CURT ADAMS
Vacancy Pastor
Hello! I am Pastor Curt Adams, and I will be serving as the Vacancy Pastor here at Hope. Here’s a little about me: I am originally from Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I am married to my wife, Joyce, and we will be celebrating our 49th wedding anniversary this coming December 30. We have three daughters and sons-in-law, and 9 grandchildren. I have enjoyed 45+ years in Christian ministry, but most of those years were as a teacher and principal in Lutheran schools in Texas, Michigan, Indiana, and Wisconsin. After all those years I began feeling God was leading me in a new direction, and at age 56 I entered Concordia Seminary in St. Louis to become a pastor. After completing that program, I was ordained and served at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Coldwater, Michigan. After retiring, Joyce and I moved to Florida in 2017, and we absolutely love it here. We are members at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Sarasota. We typically are here in Florida from September through May, and during the summer months do ‘The Grandkid Triangle’ from Wisconsin to Minnesota to Missouri. I look forward to meeting and getting to know the family of God at Hope Lutheran – and partnering with all of you in in service to God to His eternal glory!
My wife Joyce and I moved to Florida four years ago and love being here.
