ROB HINZ

Rev. Robert L. Hinz, age 75, of Bradenton, Florida, passed away at Tidewell Hospice on Monday, August 9, 2021, with his loving wife by his side. He was born in Sheboyban, Wisconsin on September 14, 1945, the son of Alfred and Viola (Schultz) Hinz). On September 6, 1975 he married Janet M Hinz. 

Robert is survived by his wife, Janet M. Hinz, and brother-in-law, Deacon George Schraufnagel of Bradenton and nieces; Stacy, Regina, Tanya, Ericka, and nephew, Jason of Wisconsin. He was preceded in death by his only brother, Jerry A. Hinz and his parents. 

Robert received his Master of Divinity in 1977 from Concordia Theological Seminart in St. Louis, MO and has served God's people in Montana, Missouri, Louisiana, and Maryland. He currently served as the visitation pastor at Hope Church in Bradenton, FL.

He enjoyed going to movies with his wife Jan, reading, bird watching, traveling, and studying languages. He also enjoyed reading about archaeology. His real passion however, was ministering to older adults, hearing their stories and sharing Christ.
